Wakizashi T10 MARU
The sabers T10/C105 are constituting the highest range of maru (blades with carbon) with 1.05% carbon. These are sturdy blades, with an edge that can be very sharp. So, C105 is a real saber for cutting and also a decorative weapon. A damas blade is composed of several steel layers. So a T10/C105 saber is a real katana for cutting ( can easily cut tatami or bamboo) and also a decorative katana. They are perfect sabers for kata practice in martial arts, kendo, iaido, or other budo and fighting sports.

Where do our sabers come from?

Our katanas and Japanese weapons are elaborated in our forges, all of them. There, for some dozens years, experimented craftsmen are dedicating themselves to create Japanese forged steel sabers , and give free rein to their imagination. We verify strictly that every katana is forged according to the rules of that art. Moreover all of our high quality katanas are forged and polished by craftsmen having at least a twenty years experience.
Of course our sabers are not nihontos (realized by Old Masters in Japan) of which price reaches some dozens thousand €/$. The tsubas are molded, and we do not assume any ritual to give a soul to the katana. We offer this kind of katana (real Shinsakutos) in the menu "Items/Nihontos" of the site. Nevertheless we take care to a controlled manufacture, using old and modern processes, and respecting what represent the katana. Details for the materials used are given on the technical data sheet of the saber. The polishing is hand-made, but with stones, as requested, and not by a grindstone machine ("hand-made by a grindstone machine" is a funny and usual feature of training katanas). A blade to be drawn and handled cautiously, real blade symbol of the Samurai.
Optional : display stand and maintenance kit.
