A T10/C105 katana constitutes the highest top of the range of maru, with 1.05% of carbon.
Nevertheless the blade is a lot more flexible and more resistant than for a classical 1095 (T10/C105 : more information). These are high carbon content blades, with a sharp that canbe perfectly and durably sharpened.
So, a T10/C105 saber is a genuine katana for cutting (it can easily cut a tatami or bamboo)and all the more being decorative. These sabers are perfect for kata practice about martial artsas kendo, iaïdo , aïkido or other budo and fighting sports.

From where are coming our sabers ?

Our katanas and Japanese weapons are elaborated in our forges, all of them. There, for some dozens years, experimented craftsmen are dedicating themselves to create Japanese forged steel sabers , and give free rein to their imagination. We verify strictly that every katana is forged according to the rules of that art. Moreover all of our high quality katanas are forged and polished by craftsmen having at least a twenty years experience. Obviously these katanas are not nihontos (Old Master's katanas provided by Japan) the price of them may reach some dozens thousands of euros/dollars. The tsubas are molded and the ritual in order to give a soul to the katana is not made.

We propose this kind of katana (genuine Shinsakuto) in the associated column.
Nevertheless we take care to a controlled manufacture, using old and modern processes, and respecting what represent the katana.

The polishing is hand-made, but with stones, as requested, and not by a grindstone machine
("hand-made by a grindstone machine" is a funny and usual feature of training katanas).
